Dani Izzie

Senior Consultant

Dani Izzie is a Senior Consultant at Iris Inclusion, a highly engaging speaker on disability and access issues as well as more general DEI issues. She is also a digital and social marketing professional uniquely positioned in the growing disability consumer marketplace. She holds a Master’s in English with a focus on Disability Studies. With 10 years of experience in marketing to disability audiences in the mobility equipment industry, Dani’s messaging appeals to this generative and exciting—yet historically underrepresented group. As the founder of Access Social, a boutique disability-led agency, Dani’s mission is to help companies meet the 3rd largest market segment in the U.S. Living with a disability herself (quadriplegia) has also immersed her into the world of grassroots advocacy where she has worked with organizations on local and National levels including United Spinal Association and Women Enabled International to craft and promote solutions for inequities faced by disabled people on a day-to-day basis. Most recently, she co-produced and starred in a documentary film and spearheaded an impact campaign amplifying issues faced by disabled pregnant people. She is a multinational Italian-American mother to twin toddlers and lives in Virginia just outside of Shenandoah National Park.
